CANNON & baby sister, CAROLINE: Bye Bye 2009....Hello 2010!!

Wow, where did 2009 go?? I feel as if we were just in January getting ready for Cannon's birth and now here we are almost a year later.

We celebrated New Year's Eve with our friends and Cannon's friends too! Maddie, Addison & Cannon played for hours before heading off to bed and us adults got our second wind to stay up long enough to see the ball drop. Thank you Ben & Danielle for having all of us over to ring in 2010!!! We look forward to celebrating more special times with you and getting the new babies together soon! And same for Summer & Adam. What special friends you have become in our lives as well as Addison in Cannon's life! It was so much fun getting to see Addison & Cannon grow up together in the Grasshopper room at daycare and now we get to look forward to having all three babies together in that same room later this year.

I can't help but reflect back on 2009 and give God all the glory for so many blessings! Aaron and I welcomed our first child and got an extra surprise months later! Yes, to our amazement, I got pregnant only months after giving birth to Cannon. As much as we were in shock, we have come to realize that it's God's plan, not ours. We always knew that because of my "older" age, we would need to have our children close together but this was a little closer than we had planned. As everyone has told us, it will be so nice to have them grow up close in age and hopefully be best friends.

May 2010 bring lots more joy and blessing to us all!!!
