Last Snuggle of the Night

With both Cannon and now Caroline, I have been very territorial about being the ONE who feeds the night time bottle to them.  Maybe it's my way to help me get over the guilt of having to be a working parent?  Maybe it's because I didn't have kids until my late thirties and I want to treasure every moment I can?  Or maybe it's just because I love them, I'm their momma and I can!  Don't get me wrong, Aaron does a lot to help but this is just one of those moments every day I can sit quietly with my babies and love and squeeze on them without being in a rush.  I take advantage of these moments and I will miss them when they are over.

Too Early

Caroline has gotten into a new and very bad habit.....deciding to wake up at 5:00am!  To her surprise, I am not ready to start my day that early and Aaron is usually either in the middle of getting ready or already gone so he can't do much to help.  So what is a momma to do?  Find a good and secure place for Caroline to "hang out" and return back to sleep.

And the best part of this story....this new habit only lasted two days! Yay!!!

Happy 2011!

Happy New Year's!!

We stayed in our pajamas a little longer than normal today.

And enjoyed our Christmas gifts a little more too.

Don't be fooled. 

I don't think Cannon's fashion choices will ever make him a runway model.

The sunshine came out and we headed outside to play ball.

Daddy (retired baseball player) has waited for this moment since Cannon was born......

.....and Cannon didn't disappoint his daddy at all with his skills!

Fun was had by all on this beautiful start of the new year!
