Shrimp and Smiles!

We traveled over the Broad River north to Beaufort, South Carolina. It's only a 30 minute trip but we just don't get there as often as we would like. Cannon was actually born in Beaufort so it was very sentimental to me when we drove by the hospital and I got to tell Cannon all about the day he was born......like he hasn't and won't hear that story another thousand times during his life.

It was a beautiful day, actually pretty hot for October, but we loaded Cannon up in his stroller, lathered him down in sunscreen and we headed out to eat some shrimp! This festival is so fun and getting to experience it with Cannon was icing on the cake this year for us. We know the festivals yet to come will be just that more exciting now that Cannon has added to our family!!

After the shrimp festival, we headed for an early dinner at Wild Wings. Yes....we were still hungry. Cannon got his second wind while we were there and had this grin on his face that was so cute! He seemed to really like looking at menu and that made him smile even more.

Once we got home, Cannon's smile didn't end there. He was just so happy so we captured more and enjoyed him until it was time to change into pj's and say goodnight.

Cannon, you light up your mommy & daddy's world with those big blue eyes and that smile from ear to ear! Thank you son for your happy spirit! We love you so much!!
