Big Boy Milestone

Today was a BIG day at our house.  The day has (finally) come to buckle down and pray for a lot of patience, gear up and settle in for a lot of laundry, and sing lots of praises to a sweet little boy.

Why?.....for this my friends is called POTTY TRAINING.

Together with his teacher, Ms. Gwen, we all agreed that we need to go hardcore on the potty training with Cannon.  He has just not been ready to shed the pull-ups full time and be that big boy we think he really is.  Ms. Gwen has potty trained a lot of toddlers throughout her teaching career so we have been plotting our training strategy with her for a while now.

The day before, we took Cannon to buy his big boy underwear.  We talked this event up for days and also told him all about how he could get any underwear he would like.  Personally, I wish they had cute little plaid boxers for toddlers but instead they have every super hero ever created so that is what Cannon picked out.

Good luck Cannon.  I am so excited to see you growing up and working on accomplishing the BIG task of being free from diapers!!  I know you can do it...........eventually!!

So.....goodbye pull-ups
