Grandma of the Year!

This is Aaron's mom, my mother in-law, grandma to Cannon & Caroline AND a HERO!!!!

Since we do not have any family where we live, she without hesitation took two weeks off work to come help with all the logistics of us having our second child and needing someone to watch over our little boy Cannon.  We knew we were going to need all the help we could get since we were going to be traveling almost two hours away from home to give birth at MUSC in Charleston. 

Grandma traveled 10 hours by car with her sweet little dog Molly to stay with Cannon while we were at the hospital (not knowing how long we would have to stay) and to help me out with recovery once we arrived back home.

And here is how her trip went.....

Grandma arrived on the day Cannon showed off his new skill...walking!

Cannon quickly fell in love with Molly.....

....and I think Molly quickly became "tolerate" of a 1 year-old in her face everyday!

The two learned how to exchange love with their kisses.

Cannon helped Grandma take Molly on walks.....

even if it was in the house......

.....or just out to the backyard!

She even had Cannon dressed appropriately for Caroline's arrival home!

And it didn't take long for her to get a hold of her newest grandbaby!

THANK YOU Grandma W for being so wonderful at a time when we needed it the most! 

We love you so very much.....and wish you could be here with us more often!!!

And to Molly........Cannon misses you so much and it was actually very nice having you around for those two weeks!  I think Aaron is a fan of little dogs now. (wink-wink)
