Cannon meets Nanny, Cousin Angela & Cousin Aiden

Since Aaron and I live away from our family, it will take a while for Cannon to meet everyone but we can now check off a couple more on the list. My mom flew to Florida to stay with my sister and they drove up to spend the weekend with me and Cannon while Aaron was in Atlanta having a boys weekend. Cannon got to meet his Nanny (my mom), his cousin Angela (my niece), his cousin Aiden (my niece's son) and see my sister Anne again. Anne had came up to visit when Cannon was just a couple months old and still in the "fussy" stage of life.....thanks for not letting that keep you from coming back sis!! :)

Aiden is about 6 weeks older than Cannon so we let the boys hang out together and get to know each other. Cannon is still a little unstable when sitting up so when he would lose his balance when sitting on the floor with Aiden, he would grab Aiden and they would go down like domino's. It was so much fun to see them interact.

It was so bittersweet having my mom meet Cannon for the first time. I miss being in Texas with my family so much and now having my own child deepens that hurt even more. I know in my heart that all the miles between us will never lessen the love of our family. Now we just need to get to Texas (scheduled for October) to have Cannon meet the rest of his grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles and lots more cousins!!!
