First Trip to Florida

Cannon can now include Florida to the list of states he has visited!

We made a short but very sweet trip to Florida last weekend to surprise Uncle Kevin. He has enlisted in the Florida National Guard and will be leaving for training. We weren't sure if we were going to get to see him for the rest of the year so Pamela throw a party and invited us to visit before he left. It will be hard not getting to talk to him for months but we will say lots of prayers and ask God to watch over him.

We are so proud of you Uncle Kevin!!! Stay safe!!

We were acting like all the other tourist!

Happy Birthday USA.....and Daddy!

Every 4th of July there are people everywhere having a party and celebrating. At our house, we have an extra reason to celebrate.....it's Aaron's birthday!!!

We spent the day around the house to avoid the heat then packed up and headed to the beach. Along with Ben, Danielle and Maddie, we had dinner on the beach and watched the fireworks. It was high tide when we arrived so we had to stay up by the dunes.....and the bugs!!! Holy bugs, they were everywhere!!! Once the tide went down a little we were able to get down on the beach just in time for the fireworks. By this time Cannon had been up for a long 3 hours and as you can tell from the pictures, he slept right through the big show.

I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend and got to celebrate with friends & family!

Doctor's Visit

Cannon had his 4 month doctors visit and our baby boy is growing UP!

Seriously, he went from 21 inches at his 2 month check up to now 26 inches. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree....just look at how tall his daddy stands! He is weighting in at 15lbs 12oz now. It seems like just last week I was driving him to the doctors because he wasn't gaining weight. This child's life is flying by!

Thank you God for a happy & healthy baby boy!

Family is a Gift that Last Forever!

This is the saying we have lined along our wall in the hallway. I take Cannon up to the wall often and tell him all about his family and how blessed he is to have such wonderful people in his life.

We just got back from a trip to Maryland to visit Aaron's family. While there we enjoyed getting to see all the family....and Grandma's friends too! We attend Aaron's mother's family reunion at Caledonia State Park just over the border in Pennsylvania. There we met relatives that we probably won't see often but it was such a treat to be able to get together and meet. Since we were visiting for a couple of days we decided to make the drive up to Pittsburgh to visit my 95 year old Grandma Santilli. So Cannon got to meet two of his four great grandmothers on this trip.

Aaron and I have decided to live in South Carolina and not Maryland or Texas so our vacations are not the destination trips like most families take. Our vacation time is spent traveling to visit the people we love the most...our family! Thank you God for giving us the gift of family!!

Enjoy the trip................

4 Months Old!!

Cannon is 4 months old!!!

Things Cannon is doing these days:
- rolling over from his back to stomach
- laughing out loud
- discovering his voice and the range of his voice a lot
- able to recognize himself in the mirror

From the pictures, you can tell that we have a very happy little boy and that makes us just as happy!
